Syabonga Nkonde has achieved a lot in running including breaking records and representing South Africa in World Cross Country Championships. Mr Nkonde is a qualified Coach and is the head Coach in this program
In this program we are targeting the youth with a raw talent who aspire to become professional athletes in future. We accept young athletes (Male and Female) from 12 to 20 years old. We asses their talent and potential to become future professionals thereafter in a specialized program designed by coaches who are expert in this field .
We go to townships and rural areas to unearth the talent. This is achieved by hosting activities such as fun runs and time time trials. Local coaches, iziNduna Councilors are our point of entry.
We are working with different schools, collages and universities in Durban and surrounding areas so that when a talent is identified, the pupils can be transferred to the city where there more facilities to hone the talent.
